Welcome to my blog. My name is Barry Davis and I started this blog as a hobby to express some of the things that are on my mind, including devotional thoughts, political issues, or anything else I get the urge to write about. I welcome (and encourage) you to comment on anything you like.
I am happily married and have four children and reside in the beautiful Commonwealth of Kentucky. My main job is a writer, although not in the traditional sense. While I have authored several books, my main focus is on writing materials that can be used by those in pastoral ministry. I have personally been involved in pastoral ministry for over two decades and now minister with the wonderful congregation of Pleasureville Christian Church.
My educational background includes the Bachelor of Biblical Literature and Bachelor of Theology (Old Testament) degrees from Ozark Christian College; the Master of Arts (New Testament/Homiletics) degree from Johnson University; the Doctor of Ministry (Homiletics) degree from American Christian College and Seminary; and the Doctor of Philosophy (Executive Leadership) from Louisiana Baptist University.
